HYDROMETAL France is set to recycle non-ferrous metals
On Thursday 11 April 2024, a public meeting as part of the public consultation took place at the Mardyck village hall to present the HYDROMETAL France project and to answer all the questions raised by those present.
We were thus able to explain that HYDROMETAL France will revitalise the former ALIPHOS site to recycle materials containing non-ferrous metals, particularly zinc, using hydrometallurgical processes. Following the public consultation, construction is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2024, with the first production line due to become operational in early 2025.
This project will create employment opportunities, with 50 jobs to be created in the long term, thereby supporting the local economy.
